Managing Director of the National Investment Bank (NIB) PLC, Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria, has revealed that the Education Minister, Haruna Hon Iddrisu, taught him Economics between 1992 and 1993.
He disclosed that his economics background motivated him to become a chartered accountant, which has created more opportunities for him.
“I am more than fulfilled that our special guest joined us today. He taught me economics in 1992–1993. The economics made me who I am today, and I am grateful to the minister,” he lauded the contribution of the Tamale South legislator to the transformation of his life
Making this known during the inauguration ceremony of a new dialysis centre at Aisha Hospital, a private health facility in Tamale, the Northern Regional Capital, Chief Doliwura, who is the founder, indicated that he was delighted by the success chalked by the facility
The facility also welcomed its first-ever IVF baby in Tamale. Chief Dr. Doliwura Zakaria owns Aisha Hospital, Aisha Homes, Aisha Entertainment Centre and other businesses across the north, creating employment opportunities for the youth in the area.
