Gifty Afriyie, the wife of Ghanaian actor Oteele, has stated that she discovered that her husband was involved with the lady captured in the famous sex tape long before now.
Speaking during a TikTok livestream on August 17, 2026, Oteele’s wife explained that although her husband did not know she was aware of the affair at the time, she indirectly used an interview with Zionfelix to tackle the situation.
“Recently, I had an interview with Zionfelix and at that time, I found out about my husband having an affair with another lady, but he didn’t know I was aware,” she said.
According to her, she had told ZionFelix during that particular interview that she caught her husband cheating multiple times and warned him that she would retaliate if he did not change his ways.
“I said that I’ve caught him cheating several times, but if he doesn’t stop, I will also do some,” she stated.
According to Oteele’s wife, the actor is very discreet about his sexual affairs, making it difficult for her to uncover unless she thoroughly investigates.
“The way my husband normally relates with the ladies, you wouldn’t really suspect that he’s having an affair with all of them. You would have to really investigate before you will know that he’s having an affair with the lady,” she shared.
“When I find out too, he would then distance himself from the lady,” she added.

She gave some details about how Oteele operates.
“He doesn’t call the other woman in my presence and tell her that he’s coming to see her. He would just tell me he’s going to work on something. When you call him, he won’t answer and later gets home with a lot of excuses,” she disclosed.
She said the situation has been particularly painful because they have children together.
Addressing the recent viral video, Oteele’s wife said, “I wasn’t happy with the fact that he cheated on me or the video circulating everywhere on social media.”
She, however, retracted her recent threats to further expose her husband.
“The video I made saying if he pisses me off, I would expose him on certain things was wrong. All of that was out of anger. I’ve thought about it and I realized that I shouldn’t have made that video and I didn’t know the video would trend as it did,” she stated.
She then stressed that her regret over making such comments should not be interpreted as weakness.
“It doesn’t mean I’m okay or I lied about what I said,” she added.
