‘I will not go to O2 Indigo just to host a concert party’ – LilWin

It appears Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah(LilWin), is not ready to tone down his criticism of Dr Likee following the latter’s recent concert at the O2 Indigo in the United Kingdom.
LilWin, who has repeatedly thrown subtle jabs at Dr Likee since the event, has once again sparked reactions with fresh comments.
In a video circulating on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 11, 2026, LilWin revealed plans to stage his own event in the UK.
According to him, his show will surpass Dr Likee’s, as he intends to premiere some of his award-winning movies, including A Country Called Ghana, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, and other projects.
He explained that aside from the movie premieres, the event would also feature a musical concert with performances from top Ghanaian artistes.
“You know people are interested in watching “A Country Called Ghana” and “A Journey to Africa”, which is a new movie I am working on. So that night, I will have a movie premiere, and after the movie, I will host a musical concert. It is going to be massive,” he said.
LilWin also took another swipe at Dr Likee, describing his event at the O2 as a “concert party.”
“I will go to a bigger venue than O2. If I go there, some people will say I am copying others’ work. So mine will not be a concert party because we will combine a music show with a movie premiere. I will look for a bigger venue,” he added.
