Founder and leader of the Universal Spiritual Outreach, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has stirred debate after advising women to prioritise cosmetic surgery over pursuing higher academic qualifications if they want to increase their chances of living a comfortable life.
Speaking in a video shared on social media on July 3, 2026, Ajagurajah argued that many women spend huge sums of money on university education and postgraduate degrees only to remain unemployed.
He suggested that the money could be better invested in a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
According to him, many men are naturally attracted to women with curvier figures, particularly those with prominent buttocks.
“As a woman, instead of going to the university, suffering to learn and spending more money on a master’s degree only to end up being unemployed, just use that money for a BBL. Most men want women with heavy backside,” he said.
Ajagurajah further stated that he has no reservations about praying for women who intend to undergo the cosmetic procedure abroad.
“If a woman comes to me that I should help her in prayers as she’s going to Turkey to undergo BBL, I will gladly do it,” he stated.
Responding to critics of cosmetic surgery, the spiritual leader compared the procedure to receiving medical treatment, insisting that there is nothing wrong with correcting physical insecurities.
“Those thinking it’s not the right thing to do, when you’re sick, don’t go for an injection at the hospital. Fixing insecurities is not a bad thing,” he argued.
He went on to claim that some women possess divine favour but are unable to attract opportunities because of their physical appearance.
“God has given some ladies grace and favour, but they’re not manifested because they don’t have buttocks,” he added.
