‘I blocked Benedicta Gafah after feud with Florence Obinim’ – Bishop Obinim claims

Outspoken Ghanaian cleric, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has in recent days made headlines following comments he made about how he wants his funeral to be organised when he dies.

Following the remarks, netizens, including his wife, Florence Obinim, took to social media to express their concerns and reactions to the prophet’s statements.

However, in a recent video shared on X and sighted by GhanaWeb on June 12, 2026, Bishop Obinim, while responding to remarks made by his wife regarding his funeral comments, stated that he now feels cautious about individuals associated with Florence Obinim.

Addressing his congregation, Bishop Obinim also recounted how he ended communication with actress Benedicta Gafah after noticing a feud between her and his wife.

According to him, he was unhappy with the controversy and online exchanges that surrounded the disagreement between the two.

He further claimed that Florence Obinim is the only woman in his life, adding that he considers himself among the few men who can publicly say they are committed to only one woman.

“How many men in this world can publicly say that they have only one wife?

“The very day I heard that our sister Benedicta Gafah had some misunderstanding with Florence Obinim, I was hurt by the way she disrespected Florence, so I blocked her,” he said.
