Amadukrom: 33-year-old farmer found dead after failing to return from farm

A 33-year-old farmer, identified as Johnson Yeboah, has been found dead on his cocoa farm at Amadukrom in the Dormaa West District of the Bono Region.

The deceased reportedly left home for his farm as usual but failed to return at the expected time, raising concerns among his relatives and community members.

A search party was subsequently organised to locate him.

The search led to his cocoa farm, where he was found hanging from a tree.

The incident has shocked residents, with family members and community members seeking answers over the circumstances surrounding his death.

The exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, including whether the deceased had shown any signs of distress or encountered any difficulties before leaving home.

The police have conveyed the body to the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital morgue and commenced investigations into the incident.

The body is expected to undergo further examination as part of the investigative process, while police are also expected to gather information from family members, witnesses and other persons who may have interacted with the deceased before his death.

Residents of Amadukrom are awaiting the outcome of the investigation as the community comes to terms with the incident.
