Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, believes the dispute between the Finance Ministry and the Agriculture Ministry is only a symptom of wider tensions within government.

He claimed disagreements are occurring across several sectors and ministries.

“All of these put together tells you that it is not just an issue of the president coming to resolve matters between the agric minister and finance minister,” he said.

“There is a deep-seated animosity amongst government officials,” he stated on AM Show on Joy News.

According to him, frustrations that were once discussed privately are now becoming public.

“It is only that now some of them are beginning to speak publicly,” he added.

Aboagye argued that the latest clash should not be viewed as an isolated disagreement but rather as evidence of broader divisions within government.
