Tunisia appoints Hervé Renard after sacking Sabri Lamouchi

Tunisia have appointed Herve Renard to take charge of the rest of their World Cup campaign.

This decision comes after Sabri Lamouchi, who coached the team before the tournament and in their first game against Sweden, was dismissed due to problems within the squad.

According to ESPN, Renard, who is 57, will arrive in Mexico on Tuesday afternoon. The Tunisian team is based there. He is expected to lead his first training session on Tuesday evening in Monterrey.

Tunisia confirmed Lamouchi’s departure late on Monday.
