Former Italy player Mario Balotelli has praised Ghana and Manchester City forward Antoine Semenyo.
Balotelli, who has Ghanaian roots, said Semenyo is one of his favourite players in the Black Stars team. He praised the forward for his style and impact.
“I love the players. Semenyo, I love the way he plays. I think 2010 was the best team of Ghana.” He said.
Balotelli also said he is supporting Ghana at the 2026 World Cup because of his heritage.
“There is no Italy in the World Cup, so I support Ghana. I am from Ghana, and I’m proud,” he added.
Semenyo, who joined the Premier League club in the January transfer window, has been one of Ghana’s best players recently. He is known for his speed, strength, and direct style of attacking.
He has also played well at the 2026 World Cup, helping Ghana reach the Round of 32 and becoming one of the standout African players in the tournament.
