Controversial Marriage Counsellor Charlotte Oduro has asked people to stop associating her name with discussions surrounding her failed marriage to Apostle Solomon Oduro, saying she wants to be left out of what she described as a toxic situation.
Speaking during a TikTok Live months after the end of her marriage, Charlotte said she had deliberately remained silent about the divorce and accepted blame for the collapse of the relationship.
“I’ve agreed I’m the bad and foolish one culminating in the collapse of marriage. That’s why I’ve never spoken about my divorce, so why are they dragging me again?” she said.
The former couple’s 16-year marriage was officially dissolved in February 2025 after they had reportedly lived apart for three years.
Charlotte said she no longer wants to be drawn into conversations involving her former husband or people discussing the marriage.
“Can they ever tell their story and take my name out of your nonsense? Because they have no news. Can you guys do whatever you want to do and get me out of your nonsense? Because I just don’t want to be associated with this kind of… It’s so toxic,” she stated.
She also made it clear that she does not consider herself accountable to people discussing her publicly.
“I am not your servant. I am not your slave. Nobody is my business. Whatever anybody says out there, whoever they want to tell, whatever they want to say about me, I’m good,” Charlotte said.
“Can I have a little peace? Can people move on? Can they take my name out of their nonsense?” she added.
