Akuapem North Member of Parliament Sammi Awuku, has reacted to KK Fosu’s plan to unseat him in the 2028 elections.
Musician KK Fosu has vowed to unseat Sammi Awuku from the Akuapem North constituency.
He insists he is the best man for the people of the constituency.
The D Styler, as he is popularly known, says he will contest the seat as an independent candidate and is hopeful that the constituents will choose him to lead them.
“I will contest for the seat. I did not contest in 2024 because of my accident. When Sammi Awuku heard I wanted to contest, he also joined the contest. If he wants, he should leave the NPP and also contest as an independent candidate, I will beat him. Even the NPP is dead so I can beat him,” he told Asempa FM in an interview.
Reacting to this in a post shared via social media, Sammi Awuku urged him to produce a campaign song for him before he decides to pick nomination forms to contest for the seat.
“Kk Fosu m’aya da ! Please get me a campaign track before you pick nomination forms. Nice weekend Bro,” he said.
