European super-agent and former Serbia international Goran Milovanovic has expressed doubts about Ghana’s chances of advancing beyond the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, pointing to the limited preparation time available to Black Stars head coach Carlos Queiroz.
Speaking exclusively to Asempa FM, Milovanovic predicted that Ghana will finish third in Group L with just one point from their three matches.
“In my personal opinion, Ghana will not go into the second round,” he said.
“Because they play against Panama and will draw. They will lose against England and lose to Croatia, and that point will not be enough.”
Milovanovic believes the Portuguese coach has not had enough time to fully impose his philosophy on the team.
“There is not enough time for Carlos Queiroz to fully implement his ideas within the team,” he said.
Ghana will begin their Group L campaign against Panama before facing England and Croatia as they seek to reach the knockout stage for the first time since the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
