A new aspiring independent parliamentary candidate for the Asene-Akroso-Manso Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Richard Assamoah, has bemoaned the lack of development in the area, attributing it to failed leadership.
According to him, he had expected more developmental projects in the constituency but nothing of that sort has happened, while unemployment has become rampant among the vibrant youth.
He stressed that if given the mandate to represent his constituents in Parliament, he will focus more on development and youth empowerment, as the youth are the backbone of the country.
Hon. Assamoah made this known to the media during the enstoolment ceremony of Nana Kwame Asiedu as Bosom Pra Sofo at Akyem Asene.
